Baruch Hashem the cost of living for a frum family is very high, and even with one or both parents working (sometimes multiple jobs), when Yom Tov comes the expenses just seem to pile up, thereby making a Geshmake Simchas Yom Tov becomes either cost prohibitive or very straining on the financial stability of the home. 
The Haverstraw Community in a beautiful display of Achdus has come together to ensure that every single family enjoys Yom Tov without the financial strain so commonly associated with it!

This initiative is specifically earmarked for working middle class families that B"H do not need or want Tzedaka. This is just a way to defray and subsidize the cost of Yom Tov by working with Evergreen and corporate donors in order to ease the Yom Tov financial burden.
